Leslie Kenser to return to Coast Guard as CO

After a stint supporting DHS, this former USCG contracting officer makes a return.

Leslie Kenser shared: I’m excited to share that I’ll soon be returning to the U.S. Coast Guard after a rewarding three years at DHS Headquarters, Office of the Chief Procurement Officer.

Serving at DHS HQ has been a true privilege. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside exceptional acquisition professionals on complex, high-visibility procurements that directly advance the Department’s mission. I’m especially thankful for the mentorship, trust, and opportunities that allowed me to engage with and learn from senior leaders across the enterprise.

As I return to the Coast Guard, I look forward to continuing to support critical acquisition efforts that strengthen operational readiness and directly impact the service members who carry out the mission every day.

Thank you to the colleagues and mentors who made my time at DHS both impactful and memorable. I’m grateful for the relationships built and look forward to staying connected as we continue supporting our national security mission.
