Things are busy — and changing — in more ways than ever. The contract you’ve been following may get consolidated before it ever sees a recompete. An 8(a) status may or may not still matter by the time the work comes back around. And the bigger question remains: what should you be tracking now, and what BD work should already be underway so you’re positioned when the opportunity is real?

Those decisions are inherently company-specific. There’s no universal playbook — but we can help by adding one more informed tool to your toolbox.

The OS AI team continues to hear from forward-looking Insiders digging into task orders and contracts expected to expire in 2027 (January 1, 2027–December 31, 2027). In response, we’ve once again pulled together a curated (not comprehensive) set of potential expiring tasks across several leading GovCon and DoD/DoW agencies.

As always, a note of caution: some of these efforts will not be recompeted. Consolidations, extensions, cancellations, and strategy shifts are all part of the reality.

That said, this list can still provide a meaningful starting point as you shape your pipeline and begin thoughtful teaming and capture conversations.

This list will continue to be added to and evolve.
