TISTA Science and Technology Corporation has been awarded the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Clinical Data Abstraction Center Data (CDAC) Validation contract, continuing work the company has supported since 2016.
Under the award, TISTA will continue providing medical record abstraction, validation, and reporting workflows supporting CMS’s quality oversight mission. The work helps ensure that hospital-recorded clinical data accurately reflects what is documented in the medical record, a critical input to national Quality Reporting and Value-based Purchasing programs.
“Supporting CMS’s quality oversight mission is meaningful because the integrity of clinical data directly affects how healthcare quality is measured and improved nationwide. TISTA is proud to continue bringing proven abstraction expertise, secure technology, and responsible AI-enabled methods to this important work.” – Sean Warner, Vice President of Fraud, Waste and Abuse, TISTA.
