CMS requires enterprise program management office support for the ClaimsCore initiative, a large-scale modernization effort to replace legacy Medicare Fee-for-Service shared systems with a secure, near-real-time commercial off-the-shelf platform. The contractor will serve as the technical implementation backbone for the program, supporting proof-of-concept execution, dual-platform operations, and implementation readiness.
Work includes technical PMO leadership and schedule management, executive-level advisory support, enterprise and solution architecture, balanced Facets and HealthEdge proof-of-concept support, claims-parity testing, integration planning, data conversion, cutover planning and runbooks, and readiness criteria. The contractor will also support target-state architecture, integration patterns, platform-neutral guardrails, sequencing of deliverables, vendor coordination, claims-accuracy and testing strategy, and development of a technical schedule designed to minimize implementation risk and keep the program on track toward production readiness.
