With the RFP for a new enterprise-wide ITSSS-2 BPA expected out this Summer, companies, large and small, are actively working to identify and engage with key subject matter experts and consultants who can help as they prepare for this important bid.  

From CTO and Data Strategy lead, to Software Development Chief and Cybersecurity and IT Infrastructure lead, included below we highlight a handful of recent and senior former FBI leaders who are now running their own consulting or technology companies, and are likely to have deep expertise in portions of the broad set of Information Technology and Communications services which will be covered under this multiple-award contract, to include delivering and providing IT services and solutions to fulfil new and emerging Geospatial, Laboratory Informatics, Data Science, Forensics, Workplace Automation, Business Application, Infrastructure and Communications, Intelligent Automation and Enterprise Platform needs.

This list simply serves as a representative example of the types of former agency leaders who have gone out on their own and that have clear technical chops and insight.

Please note that we intentionally did not include former FBI IT leaders and SMEs who are currently employed by other companies – there are plenty. Our hope is that this list will serve as a primer and reminder that there is expertise available if you go hunting for it. 

Partnering  

The FBI and DOJ have no shortage of small and large talented IT contractors ready and willing to step up to meet the agency’s needs.
