Since the beginning of 2023, the OS AI team has received multiple inquiries from forward-looking Department of State focused companies inquiring and researching potential RFQ/RFPs that stand to be competed during the first half of 2024. Included here we share a dozen or so of the potential recompete opportunities that are drawing the most interest and/or inquiries across the agency, as well as some of the State Department focused consulting firms that are being increasingly viewed as a top partner or competitor option (and/or potential employer).
The list includes several large contract opportunities, to include more than $1B in contracts and IDIQ/BPAs covering everything from Systems Analysis and Data Center Support, to Research and Evaluation, Program Support and an array of Network and Information Technology related support services and staffing requirements.
OS AI Note – Dance Lightly. Do know that some of these potential requirements will NOT end up being recompeted in 2024 for any number of reasons (e.g., contract consolidation, extension, cancellation, etc) and State Department has a track record of making large sole source awards to ANC and 8(a) entities without competition (meaning the competition takes place before any sole source decision is made). Regardless, this list can serve as a foundation as you build out your pipeline and start to have teaming discussions.
The expiring contracts and recompetes of the related tasks under these IDIQs we have received the most inquiries and interest about include:
