The Federal Communications Commission has inked a new two-month pilot tied to Anthropic Claude for Government, a FedRAMP High compliant artificial intelligence cloud service subscription.
The contract is valued at $1 and runs from July 6, 2026, through September 30, 2026. Details on the scope of the pilot are limited, but the award is worth noting given recent scrutiny around cloud usage across the federal government.
The FCC acquired the subscription through Carahsoft Technology Corp.
