DHS CBP set to compete $50M+ Office of Information and Technology (OIT) Budget Planning RFP in early ‘24

The United States Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Information and Technology plans to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) towards the end of January through the General Services Administration’s OASIS program. This RFP, which spans five years, aims to acquire comprehensive services in IT financial planning and investment management. Key services sought include investment management, coordination with the Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), and assistance with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Business Case, Standard Investment Report, and IT Portfolio development, review, and submission. The contract also aims to enhance and apply best practices in budget formulation, planning, and reporting within the Office of Information and Technology. The goal is to increase the visibility and transparency of financial expenditures in supporting the Customs and Border Protection agency’s mission.

This RFP, which was identified last Spring as one of a dozen DHS CBP RFP/RFQs being targeted in 2024. is expected to be competed as an unrestricted competition (no set-aside). Deloitte is a known incumbent on this effort.
