Members of the OrangeSlices AI team attended the HHS & CMS Online Happy Hour event this week. If you don’t go to this recurring and increasingly popular event hosted by Shelley McGuire, you are missing out. Great networking and great updates are shared every time. (Track her events here)
For those who were unable to attend, included below we share a few of the key updates we captured related to some of the current and upcoming opportunities at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Opportunity Updates*
- CMS HCD – They are doing market research.
- CMS FHIR – To be released on DASH. CMS was waiting on the acquisition package. This may be pushed to FY23.
- CMS CCSQ Service Center – Almost ready to go. CMS appears to be leaning towards putting this on 8(a) STARS III.
- CMS Cloud Computing – Still doing market research. Still evaluating whether to go 8(a) route. 8(a) STARS III is a definite possibility, but not finalized at this point.
- ACME – Still evaluating the last phase and looking to award by the end of the fiscal year.
- BOSC – The package went to the contract review board. If no hiccups, this will be released soon.
- ECIS – This is in market research process
- HPMS – Plan to start market research in the next month or so.
- IDOS – Hope to release that on November 1 – award by March 14. Plan on posting to SAM, but this is unconfirmed.
- The $1+ Billion NIH Tobacco and Health Survey contract – Will go out unrestricted, but there will be a huge 32.5% contract award dollars small business goal. Posted in January of 2023.
- Eligibility Support – Expected to be out soon on Alliant. – Will go out unrestricted, but this has a 20% subcontracting goal minimum for total award dollars.
