Single Family Housing has a requirement to establish a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to meet USDA’s requirement Guaranteed Underwriting System 2 (GUS2).
IDIQ Objective
The objective of this effort is to provide the USDA RD with a streamlined enterprise-wide method to obtain such agile services. Specifically, the IDIQ will meet the following goals:
- Establish a streamlined and common contracting vehicle that will provide the USDA RD access to a contractor specializing in the services outlined in this PWS, including agile services including user-centered design, project management, agile software development, API development, automated testing, cloud infrastructure design and management, CI/CD, and delivery of FedRAMP systems.
- Allow for services to be delivered in an agile and/or rapid-cycle fashion, in accordance with industry best practices.
- Support digital modernization efforts by providing the USDA RD with a contract vehicle to add specific and specialized commercial capabilities.
- Ensure the USDA RD can rapidly adopt industry best practices.
