A request was recently provided to OS AI from an 8(a) woman-led consultancy and OASIS SB Prime contract holder that specializes in program integrity and compliance, trying to identify additional information, partners and similar potential bidders that might be willing to respond an RFI for this 5-year Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration contract that may go to up to 4 contractors.
We at OrangeSlices AI do believe in the need for more and better-informed competition, so provided below are 1) opportunity details provided by the requestor; 2) some key points of contact; and 3) related pursuit/capture data.
The Ask: We “are looking to identify potential large or small partners, large preferred, that have direct experience supporting DOT, NHTSA and/or OCR on similar efforts” … “and we would like to find other 8(a) Primes to respond to the RFI [out on eBuy now] so that we can keep it small and on a preferred [contract vehicle].” This work is in support of the NHTSA Office of Civil Rights (NCR) ) who is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that the recipients of Federal financial assistance from NHTSA comply with civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination against individuals in the delivery of services and employment practices. NCR will use four (4) contractors to accomplish its External Program mission. The contractors will help ensure that SHSOs, DMVs, and other recipients of Federal financial assistance comply with Federal civil rights requirements. The contractors will do this by conducting factual and legal research and analysis and assisting NCR staff with other programmatic tasks as needed to apply and enforce Federal civil rights statutes, regulations, and executive orders.”
