The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) encourages the electronic exchange of information within its establishment, with individual and business taxpayers, tax practitioners, and other government entities. It has become imperative for the FISMA Process and Controls Management (FPCM) section of Enterprise FISMA Compliance (EFC) to strategically align the IRS High Value Asset (HVA) and Information System Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) programs while meeting Treasury and IRS standards in addition to industry best practices. Cyber Security Innovations is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that all these demands are met. As per the contract between Cyber Security Innovations (CSI) and the IRS, the former is expected to perform High-Value Asset (HVA) Assessments and to develop the IRS’ Information System Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) Plan. The support services obtained should have experience within the areas of Project Management, Security Engineering and Architecture, Security Risk Management, and Strategic Planning to accomplish the goals of the IRS effectively.
Cyber Security Innovations is expected to provide the IRS FISMA Process and Controls Management with the support necessary in performing the following security activities:
- Program Management & FISMA SME Support
- Security Assessments of High Value Asset (HVA) Systems
- Strategic Planning and structuring of the ISCM Program Plan.
