Maximus (NYSE: MMS), a leading employer and provider of government services worldwide, today announced a new Federal growth leadership team managing three key verticals across Civilian, Health, and Defense. This announcement aligns with the company’s market, technology, and business process initiatives, reimaging how agencies implement technologies and improve the customer experience (CX) for the public.

“The Federal team delivers exceptional services, technology, and approaches to federal agencies that turn their ideas into reality,” said Teresa Weipert, General Manager of Maximus’ Federal Services segment. “We’ve reached a pivotal moment in federal technology as emerging technologies, like AI and machine learning, are opening up so many possibilities when it comes to modernization. These new leaders will contribute to our company’s evolution as we continue to broaden our agency relationships and deliver bolder solutions to meet today’s missions.”

Maximus announced new Executive Managing Directors (“EMD”) who will lead each of the three verticals created through the reorganization: Diarmuid O’Casey will lead Civilian, Monica Rosser will lead Health, and Pamela Powers will lead Defense.

O’Casey, EMD – Civilian, will work with civilian agencies to scale enterprise programs and joins Maximus after spending nearly seven years with ARSC Federal, building relationships with civilian agencies such as the Department of Labor (DOL) and Department of Education (DOE).

“Maximus provides unique value in the federal system integrator community,” said O’Casey. “Agencies come to Maximus because they know we can scale and implement programs successfully, from end to end, building trust in government. Today, we support the largest civilian agencies interacting with millions of people per day with the understanding we must deliver the most impactful experience for the American people.”

Rosser, EMD – Health, will lead continued growth through a focus on patient-first government programs to shape the future of healthcare. Rosser comes to Maximus after several leadership roles across the government contracting market, including with Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton.

“The scale and depth of our health capabilities at Maximus allows us to support our customers’ needs in the future of health,” said Rosser. “We’re in the midst of a crucial period where agencies are outlining these strategic plans for a new model of care, with greater emphasis placed on technology and meeting patients where they are.”

Powers, EMD – Defense, will be responsible for operations, business development, and support of our defense customers. Powers spent 28 years as an officer in the United States Air Force and served as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Acting Deputy Secretary and Chief of Staff prior to her federal consulting career.

“Maximus is an innovation organization with depth and ability to quickly scale, and I joined the company because the values of focusing on the mission align perfectly with mine,” said Powers. “My goal is to continue the company’s support of defense customers and push the boundaries of what’s possible with new technologies and enhance current mission-centric programs.”

“The Federal growth leaders at Maximus represent the elite in their respective fields, with decades of unique experience implementing successful technology projects to meet a variety of missions,” said Weipert. “We’ve put new market leaders in place who will develop unique approaches to simplify the complex challenges facing government today and in the future.”
