ICYMI: US Coast Guard posts FMPDR Reporting and Analytical Capabilities RFP

The clock is ticking, but we wanted to share that VETS 2 Primes are known to be actively on the hunt for partners who can help support this financial system modernization effort within the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Office of the Comptroller (CG-8C), Office of Financial Systems (CG-86), to assist with the continued development and maturation of USCG reporting and analytical capabilities as it relates to financial, procurement and asset management data in the Financial Management and Procurement Data Repository (FMPDR).

Details of the planned RFP for this new 5-year contract, valued at between $10 and $20 million, were posted by DHS just yesterday, and word is that the actual RFP was released on VETS 2 almost immediately afterwards.

This RFP seeks a contractor to help improve how it manages and analyzes financial, procurement, and asset data. This includes working with the Coast Guard’s financial system upgrade teams to better handle data and reporting through the Financial Management and Procurement Data Repository (FMPDR). The contractor will manage databases, support data analysis with SAS Viya software, and create reports and dashboards. They will also train Coast Guard staff, handle data from old systems, and may move tools to cloud-based systems if needed. The goal is to make the Coast Guard’s financial reporting more effective and up to date.
