ED RFI: Controlled Correspondence Manager (CCM) Data Archival and Data/Document Search and Display

The U.S. Department of Education (Department), Office of the Secretary (OS) requires contractor support to assist with data archival and data/document search and display for the Department’s legacy Controlled Correspondence Manager (CCM).  The CCM application is being retired/decommissioned due to end-of-life support for the application and platform. A modernized Correspondence Tracking System (CTS) has been developed on the low-code Appian Platform. The existing legacy system data is not being migrated into the new system and won’t be visible from the new front end. So, there is a need for the old data to be available for FOIA requests or queries.

Scope.  The Department must secure support for exporting CCM data from the legacy system, importing it into a unified archive with a flexible data model that presents a single data store for searching across all legacy data, regardless of source or original format, and linking the imported data to the documents associated with the records.

The period of performance shall be October 15, 2024 through March 15, 2025.  (Pending availability of FY 2025 funding.)
