The purpose of the Patent Search Artificial Intelligence (PSAI) solution is to procure models, services and expertise, primarily in the form of an Agile Team, to continue the DevSecOps of the PSAI component. These services include the integration of AI models into USPTO systems, update the AI models with new documents, incorporate passive and active feedback to improve AI model performance according to USPTO direction, identify and implement AI model design, coding, cybersecurity and architecture requirements to meet and exceed performance requirements and minimize burden on information technology systems. The USPTO also requires continued access to the AI models supporting MLTD and SimSearch.
At a minimum, the PSAI solution and services must have the following high-level list of capability needs:
Ability to emulate the current PSAI features and functionality. Models will need to work with our existing interfaces.
Product Delivery Management (PDM). PDM includes activities, deliverables and resources which support the delivery of PSAI to the USPTO. Example elements of PDM include, but not limited to status reports; invoices, ad-hoc meetings, presentations, and the on-boarding/off-boarding of Contractor employees.
DME O&M. Ability to provide DME O&M support for the PSAI Component. As part of the DME O&M support, this includes, but is not limited to, communicate and collaborate with the Lead Product Owner, Technical Lead, and other stakeholders in order to build, secure, test, deploy, release, and maintain the PSAI Component…
