It is unclear what the next steps are for the Census Bureau at this point, but what we do know is that a series of court challenges struck a chord as just days after stating its intent to take corrective action, the agency announced “its intent to cancel the RFQ”.
As It stands now, the plaintiff (protestor) and the defendant (named awardee) have both declared their intent to file a follow-up bid protest complaint challenging the Census Bureau’s stated corrective action, however the crux of any action seems focused on ensuring that any sensitive and protected information is not leaked to the other party with a potential new competitive RFP and/or evaluation on the horizon.
The awarded contract below has not been identified as being officially terminated by the agency at this time. More will be shared as it is made available.
