The United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division is embarking on a strategic initiative to enhance customer engagement and streamline internal processes. One possible implementation within this initiative is the deployment of a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS), CRM platform. Recognizing the critical role that an efficient CRM system plays in fostering strong customer relationships, storing customer histories, optimizing workflows, and facilitating data-driven decision-making, the FBI CJIS is conducting this RFI to gain insights into the government cloud CRM platforms available in the market.

A scalable platform is important, with the pivotal role of the CRM Application Programming Interface (API) platforms to facilitate openness, extensibility, integration, and system-to-system communication. The CRM API platform should support efficient data exchange and interaction with third-party solutions, and tangible examples of successful API integrations will play a key role in demonstrating adaptability.

The FBI, CJIS prioritizes COTS that reside in a Government Cloud and that adheres to stringent security, compliance, and data protection standards. Users interacting with the CRM should use intuitive user interfaces with customization capabilities and deep integration with Microsoft Office products which would limit the amount of training required. For the deployment of the CRM Platform, the FBI, CJIS is seeking information about software and licensing costs, deployment support, and limited user training.
