Small and large business alike will be working overtime to influence the acquisition strategy for the RFP on this 5-year Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) Data Analytics Support contract.
This upcoming DHS ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC), Health Information Technology Unit Data Analytics Office (DAO) RFP will be seeking contract support for current/existing data repository query/analysis for quality medical care information stemming from health services provided at ICE detention facilities; for enabling IHSC and its partners agencies to have available, accurate, complete and secure data sets in order to conduct appropriate data analyses and studies; and to achieve comprehensive analytics solutions for its enterprise healthcare data. The ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC) is a program office within ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) — and the only entity within ICE responsible for providing essential health care for all noncitizens detained in ICE custody.
The incumbent on this contract is Sev1Tech, who was awarded an OASIS Unrestricted Pool 1 vehicle task order in 2020 to support IHSC DAO in providing accurate, complete and secure medical and health services data analytics to facilitate oversight, management and delivery of safe and effective health services.
The RFP is currently slated to be released in February of 2024 and OASIS will be the vehicle of choice. Will it go out unrestricted or small business set-aside? That is still TBD and it will be up to small business to make the case.
