DHS CISA set to compete $50M+ PS Integration Contract on 8(a) STARS III

The latest word out of DHS is that, in spite of the incumbent being a large consultancy, the recompete of this significant 5-year contract to provide the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Cybersecurity with carrier service agreements, requisite OAM&P, and engineering support for priority services, is set to go out as an 8(a) set-aside on STARS III.

Engineering is required for sustainment and improvement of specified services to ensure the service capabilities do not degrade, as Public Switched Network (PSN) technology upgrades occur, and that the services continue to be effective under all levels of network stress

The incumbent on this contract is GDIT, who was last awarded this contract in 2019. Contract award details and spend to date are available here. (70RCSA19C00000001) The RFP is expected to be released this June.

More will be shared as it is made available.
