The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Central Office (VACO), End User Operations (EUO) has a requirement for continued IT desktop support of the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy (VAAA) IT Support Services.
The Contractor shall provide services and support for the full range of IT functions to support work that is performed by the VAAA Desktop that supports both on-site and remote VA Customers. The scope of the work to be performed encompasses providing desk side technical, remote technical, and operational user support; desk side and classroom support services is for Windows operating systems roughly 150 Staff and Faculty per day. The Contractor shall provide the necessary resources to support the overall availability and functionality of the VA work environment. Contractor personnel assigned to this contract must be able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, in the English language.
The Contractor shall provide the necessary Tier 2 IT services to support the overall availability and functionality of the VAAA desktop and classroom environment. These requirements include supporting the full suite of Microsoft applications, VA learning applications, performing standard network setup at users’ level learning of new technologies, and being Customer-oriented with the capability to provide direct Tier 2 desk side support and training to on-site and remote Customers.
