VA RFI: Retail Merchandising System (RMS) and the Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM)

The Contractor shall upgrade the existing Oracle Retail System Version 13 to the onprem Version 19C to include any required data migration and system integration to meet VA IT security requirements and ensure system functionality and interoperability is maintained. The Oracle Retail System Version 19C does not include an Oraclesupported SIM module. The Contractor shall migrate the existing on-prem SIM module to the latest Oracle SIM Software as a Service (SaaS) Version to include any required data migration and system integration to meet VA IT security requirements and ensure system functionality and interoperability is maintained.

The Contractor shall deliver nonbrand specific replacement for VCS’s existing Handheld Scanners, Portable Label Printers, and Vending Machine to VendMAX Interface Devices, and associated Peripherals (e.g. cradles, cords, etc.) that are utilized by and connected to the SIM system. The Contractor shall also provide a mobile device management solution to maintain, upgrade, configure, and track all mobile scanner and printer devices.  The Contractor shall perform an assessment to determine what will be required to complete the system upgrades/modernizations. The contractor shall complete the implementation of the upgrades and provide maintenance and sustainment of the systems throughout the Period of Performance (PoP).

The Period of Performance (PoP) shall be 12 months with four 12-month option periods and five Optional Tasks, if exercised by the VA.
