VA RFI: Artificial Intelligence Pilot Teams Update

This notice is posted as an amendment to the original RFI issued on 5/17/2024, for the purpose of informing potential vendors of the intended outcome of the subject requirement.

At this time, based on the complexity of the Governance requirements for AI being established across the Government and within VA, and based on the thoughtful responses to the RFI, VA has determined it will need more time to develop a long-term strategy for AI pilots within VA which cannot be completed by the end of this fiscal year. Thus, this request will be deferred into FY25. VA will provide additional information as soon as it’s available.
