AMP is a suite of tools supporting analysis of the joint deployment distribution enterprise (JDDE). Tools range from complex simulation and optimization modeling environments to highly detailed simulation tools. The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center (JDPAC) is the functional manager for the AMP program, and the tools within the suite include:
- AMP-Core
- Air Refueling Model (ARM)
- AMP-Port Analysis Tool (AMP-PAT)
- Rapid Course of Action (COA) Analysis Tool (RCAT)
- Joint Mobility Closure Estimator (JMCE)
- AMP-Transportation Feasibility Assessment (AMP-TFA)
AMP is a transportation modeling and simulation framework used to obtain an end-to-end simulation of the Defense Transportation System (DTS). AMP supports transportation enabler requirements during Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data development processes and provides throughput analysis for airports and seaports. This requirement will have 12 task areas: Contract and Program Management, Technical Support for Studies and Analysis, Requirements Management, Support for Design and Development, Software Maintenance, Application Administration, Security Engineering and Cyber Security Requirements, Support for Annual AMP Contingency Plan Review, Configuration Management, Sustainment Enhancement, New Capability, and Cloud Migration.
The United States Transportation Command Directorate of Acquisition (TCAQ) intends to solicit and award a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with cost plus fixed fee and firm fixed price line items. Task Orders issued against the IDIQ will be structured accordingly. The five- year ordering period for the AMP IDIQ is 01 August 2024 through 31 July 2029.
