Unissant, an industry leader in data and advanced analytics solutions for health and national security, today announced that Kamran Bakhtian has joined the team as Senior Director Growth, Federal Civilian and Healthcare. Kamran will be responsible for growth and new business development strategies and objectives in support of the company’s strategic business plan surrounding Unissant’s Health IT vertical.  He will lead go-to-market initiatives and is one of the company’s subject-matter experts in the Health IT market.

A business development and capture management professional with over 15 years experience within the Federal Health and Civilian domains, Kamran has been performing high-impact scientific research as well as supporting strategic growth. Centered on fostering cross-functional partnerships and consultative solution development, Kamran is focused on the nexus between digital services and public health. Concentration areas include data engineering and sustainable technology for the betterment of human productivity and scientific advancement.

Prior to joining Unissant, Kamran supported growth and brand recognition at firms including Dovel Technologies, Analytica, FTC, and BAO Systems in agencies such as the CMS, VA, NIH, FDA, DHA, and DHS. Kamran has supported intramurally-funded NIH clinical, translational, and basic research initiatives; his work has been cited in peer-reviewed literature over 900 times. Kamran holds an MS in Biotechnology from Georgetown University and Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Music from the University of Virginia.
