The Deputy Commissioner for Budget, Finance, and Management (DCBFM), Office of the Associate Commissioner, Office of Facilities & Logistics Management (OFLM) in Baltimore, Maryland is responsible for Social Security Administration’s (SSA or agency) Sustainability Program. SSA seeks consultant services to provide support for the agency’s sustainability program and associated reporting requirements. The contractor shall work closely with the designated Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for the program in support of the Senior Sustainability Officer.
The purpose and objective of this potential procurement is to provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) with the capability to obtain consultant services to provide support for the agency’s sustainability program and associated reporting requirements.
The purpose of this notice is to obtain information, for planning purposes, regarding:
- Develop a process that assists SSA in its annual development of the Annual Energy Management Data Report for the Department of Energy (DOE) Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) and the Sustainability Report (SR).
- Develop a way to track, manage and analyze all sustainability since 2009.
- Compiling and completing SSA’s FEMP Annual Energy Management Data Report, by reviewing all material provided by SSA, obtaining additional data as needed, and preparing the draft report for SSA’s review.
- Develop SSA’s annual sustainability report, by reviewing all material provided by SSA, obtaining additional data as needed and preparing the draft report for SSA’s review.
- Assist SSA in review and prepare comments for its annual OMB Energy/Environmental Scorecard.
- Develop, report, review, and implement SSA’s annual Climate Adaptation Plan (CAP) by reviewing all material provided by SSA, obtaining additional data as needed, and preparing the draft report and/or annual review for SSA’s review.
The period of performance for this requirement would include one base year and four options years, with a six-month option to extend services. The anticipated start date would be 06/22/2025.
