Bio:
Sumita Langhnoja was one of Dynamis’ first employees, joining the company in 2008. John Braun and John Milam knew they needed someone who could create the environment they envisioned and who could nurture the seeds they planted. Sumita is an architect and shepherd of our culture. Her team doesn’t really hire employees, they recruit Dynamites. As the Vice President of Human Capital she is responsible for the oversight and execution of all human resources and talent management strategies to advance the mission of Dynamis while making it a rewarding experience for all Dynamites. She has also earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification which gives her the knowledge and experience to support the company with human resources management.

She started her career at Dynamis as a knowledge management analyst supporting Dynamis’ first contract at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center. She has worked closely with government personnel at several agencies, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), NASA, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). She has coordinated several large events, both for the government and for the private sector. She served as the Logistics Section Chief for the 2014 FEMA National Level Exercise, which was multi-day interagency event. During this event, she supported FEMA’s National Exercise Division (NED) with the planning, design, development, coordination, communication, conduct, and evaluation of the exercise.

A true Marylander at heart, Sumita was born, raised in Maryland, and attended the University of Maryland, College Park. Go Terps!
