Bio:
Susan Chibnall has a Ph.D. in community psychology, an M.S. in clinical psychology. For more than 25 years, Dr. Chibnall has supported multiple consulting firms as a business development professional and senior study director. Over her career, she has led or contributed to more than 150 competitive proposals, securing more than $40 million in contracts. Business development strengths include developing and implementing standardized processes to make the proposal development cycle more efficient and employing better strategies to align technical proposals and budgets. Strengths also include training staff to develop and submit highly competitive, technically sound, and compliant proposals and leading competitor intelligence efforts to strengthen capture plans and proposal integrity. Dr. Chibnall is also an experienced study director, having managed more than 50 research and evaluation studies for a variety of Federal, state, and local clients. Her research interests include child welfare, family violence, relationship violence among young adults, juvenile justice, women and substance abuse, and systems reform efforts. She has also provided technical assistance and training around federal contract procurement and proposal writing, program evaluation, and mental health and family violence to more than 100 organizations, agencies, and groups nationwide.
