I am fortunate enough to start my own company, DesignOvation Strategies, LLC, an SBA-certified woman-owned small business (WOSB). DesignOvation Strategies combines the principles of design thinking and theories of disruptive innovation to offer out-of-the-box solutions to mission-critical challenges. Our core competency, Customer Experience within Federal Grants Management entails redesigning all internal and external grants management processes and systems in compliance with Federal regulations. DesignOvation Strategies offers strategic planning, business transformation, customer experience, IT and non-IT portfolio management and digital media services with excellent past performance.
I have led strategy, technology and operations engagements within a variety of industries including telecommunications, financial services, retail, luxury and Federal Government. As a consummate learner of people, innovation, and technology, I love solving complex business problems leveraging emerging disciplines in all 3. I believe in the power of research and academia in driving thought leadership and innovation in all sectors. As a mentee of the late, great, Dr. Clayton Christensen, I am a well-versed proponent of the theories of disruptive innovation and embrace the concepts behind design thinking.
