Aquia Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in cloud and cybersecurity professional services, today announced it has been awarded a subcontract from Oddball to support its 18-month, $9 million contract with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide multi-factor authentication (MFA) pilot services.

As a subcontractor, Aquia will work with the Oddball team to support VA’s modernization initiatives by ensuring the federal agency has streamlined access to the modern commercial services required to deliver digital products to its internal and external users. Aquia will bring DevSecOps expertise to the project to help enable the rapid adoption of the multi-factor authentication pilot across VA.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to support the Department of Veterans Affairs and, in turn, the 16.5 million U.S. veterans who rely on the services VA provides,” said David Maskeroni, chief executive officer and co-founder of Aquia. “As an SDVOSB founded by three veterans, we are especially proud and excited to give back to our community.”
