The Department of the Navy (DON) has established a Financial Strategy to better understand and transform financial operations to support warfighters and help the DON achieve its mission. The DON has established an aggressive vision for transformation of its financial management (FM) operations into a premier institution and career destination that is aligned with the Department of Defense Financial Management Strategy FY22-26 and the Secretary of the Navy’s strategic guidance. The vision animating the DON’s Financial Management transformation efforts is that financial operations are executed in modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems using standardized business processes with internal controls tested annually based on risk; the DON budget is transparent and executed with fiscal discipline; Senior leaders have access to accurate and timely financial and logistics data, enabling informed decisions; and the FM workforce is inspired, dedicated, and challenged.
This IDIQ is intended to address the DON’s FM Operations and FM Transformation requirements. The scope of activities under this contract are limited to the sustainment and transformation of the DON’s financial management operations with the goal of making the DON a premier institution and career destination. This IDIQ is not intended to address financial statement audit remediation-related requirements.
