Mile 2, an applied innovation company that utilizes expertise in human performance, user experience design, and cognitive systems engineering to develop user-centric software solutions for client’s most challenging problems, was awarded a $9.3M Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) phase III cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development under the Operationalizing Artificial Intelligence effort.
This contract provides for researching, designing, developing, implementing, extending, and commercializing the work previously accomplished in the SBIR Phase II (AF222-0013). Work will be performed at Dayton, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by May 16, 2030.
This contract was a sole source acquisition. The Air Force Research Laboratory-Sensors Plans and Advanced Programs, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA2377-25-C-B013).
