IRS taps new Associate Chief Information Officer Enterprise Operations

Leveraging extensive experience leading large IT organizations, critical customer experience (CX) change, IT infrastructure migration & implementation programs, and spearheading multi-million-dollar contracts & cost saving initiatives, this leader takes on a new challenge with the Internal Revenue Service.

Randy Edwards is now identified as Associate Chief Information Officer Enterprise Operations within the Treasury Department’s Internal Revenue Service.

Randy most recently provided executive leadership for the design and engineering of the enterprise local and wide area (LAN/WAN) network and telecommunications environment, the delivery of the full range of client computing services, including asset and software management and other IT components influencing the desktop environment, and customer relationship management. He also had oversight and direction of a $400 million per annum non-labor operating budget, network enterprise architecture compliance and engineering, and all matters concerning the enterprise voice and data network and contact center environments providing services to hundreds of millions of American taxpayers.
