The FDA Division of Food Defense Targeting requires a single, secure, web-based interface information search/link analysis system with access to a broad range of real time business, government, and public records/information, accessible from any FDA desktop computer.
The DFDT requires a single, secure, web-based interface information search/link analysis system with access to a broad range of real time business, government, and public records/information, accessible from any FDA desktop computer.
The system should be completely web based and not require the loading of any software outside of FDA’s standard computer image. The system shall have no connectivity/functionality issues while interacting with a computer system with the following applications/hardware:
Hardware:
- Computer with a mouse and a color display
- Internet connection
Software:
- Windows 7 or higher
- Microsoft Edge Version 116.0.1938.76 or higher
- Microsoft Edge – Internet settings must be set to automatically check for newer versions of stored pages.
- Monitor resolution set to 720p or higher
- Java Sun JRE 1.7 or higher
DFDT requires quick and efficient access to real-time address/location data, cell phone data, personal identifiers (SSN, DOB), business, corporate information etc. which are critical to investigations and to perform the prior notice review risk assessments. Access to the subject data will help the DFDT corroborate and verify the accuracy of the prior notice information submitted for imported food shipments and contribute to the security risk assessment decisions made with respect to the imported food shipments. This data system query capability will also be used extensively by the DFDT with respect to high-risk shipment sweeps where actual shipment data is often limited to bill data filed with Customs and Border Protection.
