Salesforce Application Support and Licensing – Market Research On behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services, GSA is conducting market research to understand capabilities related to providing the below requirement: Contractor shall provide professional support and licensing for existing Salesforce OASIS applications, products, and modernization initiatives. Efforts include maintenance, development, enhancement of existing a new applications, end user support operations, training, user experience design.
Unaccompanied alien children (UC) are apprehended at the nation’s borders primarily by Customs & Border Protection (CBP) personnel and processed in one of the several hundred Border Parol (BP) stations on the Northern and Southern borders of the United States. The DUCO Program recommends and determines placements in consultation with Federal immigration authorities and ensures consideration of the child’s best interest in care and custody decisions. The Program takes into consideration the unique nature of each child’s situation and incorporates child welfare principles when making placement, clinical, case management, and release decisions that are in the best interest of the child. The Program requires a system that not only tracks UCs in care, but also provides a central system for managing workflows, processes, and information needs. The existing UC Portal application is going through a Modernization initiative which includes the following operational improvements:
- An extensive case and document management capability to track the status of and information about all UCs throughout the lifecycle of a UC under Office of Refugee Resettlement’s (ORR) care.
- Timely and automated exchange of information between ACF, DHS Components (CBP and ICE) and the Federal Bureau of Information (FBI)
- Maintaining and accessing information about sponsors, children and facilities.
- Tracking and providing detailed analysis and information about
- Sponsors responsible for taking care of the UCs after their release
- Programs and facilities associated with taking care of the UCs under ACF’s care
The UC Technology system will support cloud-based implementations. This system will integrate services that meets requirements for tracking and managing the care of UCs, enables ORR to perform UC business functions to support its mission, and interfaces with multiple components of stakeholders, external health providers, and the grantees who operate the care provider facilities.
