A. PURPOSE
The Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) is currently seeking input from industry regarding a new ERP solution to replace Microsoft Dynamics GP Software. DFAS is requesting capability statements from potential sources and engaging with industry to assess the availability of and interest in providing this support. This market research is part of DFAS acquisition planning efforts and may inform the development of a potential future requirement.

B. BACKGROUND
The Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) requires IT professional support to migrate an existing ERP system, which is approaching its end-of-life, to a new ERP solution.

The current application, Non-Appropriated Funds GP (NAFSGP), is a Microsoft Dynamics GP commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) application used for accounting, vendor pay, fixed assets, budgeting, and disbursing for Army Non-Appropriated Funds. Users access this application via terminal servers on Microsoft Windows-based laptops/desktops from locations both within and outside the continental United States.

C. OBJECTIVES / REQUESTED INFORMATION
DFAS seeks to identify potential software solutions to replace Microsoft Dynamics GP as its enterprise resource planning system. The desired solution should be modern, scalable, and cost-effective, aligning with current and future business needs. Key goals include streamlining financial operations, enhancing reporting processes, improving user experience, and ensuring robust integration capabilities.
