DHS recruits FEMA IPAWS Engineering lead to serve as Technical Architecture Branch Chief

Armed with over 20 years of experience in federal IT with a focus on engineering, cybersecurity, and program management, this leader takes on a new challenge.

Mark Lucero is now listed as Technical Architecture Branch Chief with the Department of Homeland Security Enterprise Architecture Division.

In this role Mark will serve as the viable authoritative source of information concerning enterprise architecture (EA) including the interpretation of the intent of existing guides and the formulation of new agency polices and practices, and work to coordinate and consolidate IT resources with supportive technology and technical personnel, and to serve as an agency representative to other IT experts in regards to enterprise architecture management initiatives that require new concepts and practices to achieve desired results.
