Coast Professional, Inc. Makes Donation to Operation Build Up

Coast Professional, Inc. (Coast) recently presented a check for $3,420, raised through employee donations, to Operation Build Up, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting and improving the lives of veterans across New York State. This contribution, made on July 11, 2024 at Coast’s Geneseo, NY headquarters, continues Coast’s long-standing tradition of supporting local charities and non-profit organizations.

Justin Cogman, CEO of Operation Build Up, thanked Coast and its employees, commenting “Your hard work, efforts and dedication changed a life. This is why it matters; we appreciate you guys more than we can even say.” Coast’s donation is a result of its employees’ strong sense of philanthropy and community. To make donations like these possible, Coast employees can elect for a portion of their paycheck to benefit a selected local charity or organization.

Charities are selected quarterly by employee vote at each of Coast’s geographical locations. Operation Build Up, a non-profit organization based out of Avon, NY, was selected as the second-quarter charity by Coast’s Geneseo-based workforce. Comprised of former Marines, Operation Build Up is dedicated to assisting and improving the lives of Veterans across New York State. The proceeds of the donation will help Operation Build Up continue to provide essential services such as transportation and housing for Veterans in need. Over the past year Operation Build Up has provided over 300 vehicles to Veterans in need.

Coast aims to assist Operation Build Up with their mission: “To have an impact on the 22 Veteran suicides per day and homelessness statistics by surprising Veterans with the basic items needed for survival in a civilian lifestyle.
