Sometimes you just have to break a little glass. Ceilings, everyday norms, expectations… you name it. Two years ago, I decided it was time to break some glass when I launched Platinum Technologies. Up to that point, my professional life followed a fairly predictable (and by most accounts, successful) pattern. Work hard, deliver something big, get promoted. Manager, Director, Vice President, etc…

In between the launch and my career, I was privileged to serve in a Public Service capacity during a time where the nation was painfully experiencing the life altering effects of COVID, a corresponding failing economy, and a racial reckoning not seen en masse since the 1960’s. Yet, at the end of my Fellowship, I was poised to return back to my corporate life in a (you guessed it) more senior role. There are a host of reasons why I chose a different path, most of which could be summed up into one question — Is your next act going to directly impact the lives of others?

Platinum Technologies was my answer to that call. Create an enterprise that centers on the next generation of talent to provide high quality service delivery within the Federal Technology Services market. At Platinum, ‘next generation’ is not age-specific. We are focused on those who may have not traditionally competed for opportunities successfully in this space as well as the young technology ninjas who seem to have a knack for solving problems in an elegant and decisive manner. We are the destination for self-motivated individuals that want to hone their skills and a career they can be proud of.

Starting from a ‘small fighting force of one’, we have accelerated our growth at a pace well beyond my expectations. There are many moments of pride along this journey, but it is my feeling of overwhelming gratefulness that supersedes any other emotion.

A big thank you to the team for living our values and not settling for anything less that being excellent in your work. To our partners that also bet on Platinum, we look forward to deepening our relationship while continuing to deliver high quality solutions together.
