Ms. Alvarez will report directly to the Vice President of Operations, Angela Lee, and is responsible for leading AMSG’s VA operations.
Julie joined AMSG 4 years ago as a Sr. Program Manager supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Government Accounting Office (GAO). Since 2017, she has led VHA programs and initiatives including Community Care and the VHA GAO High Risk List efforts under the Institute for Learning and Development (ILEAD).
Previously, Julie served in Administrative and Clinical Management capacities for two of the biggest healthcare systems in the Mid-Atlantic Region (Kaiser Permanente and Inova Health Systems), following her experience in Clinical Project Management focusing on patient safety, quality improvement, and comparative effectiveness research.
