The Headquarters United States Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration, and Requirements (AF/A5/7) (alternatively “Air Force Futures”) focuses on developing Air Force strategy and concepts, conducting strategic assessments of the operating environment through wargames and workshops, manifesting an integrated future force design, and achieving timely and effective operational capabilities required for tomorrow’s Airmen to fight and win.
The Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) are required to support the USAF Simulations, Training, and Experimentation (STE) programs that include the planning and execution of HQ USAF sponsored and supported wargames. Current Chief of Staff of the Air Force (CSAF) wargames are designed to explore future force design, capability concepts, and operating concepts to employ them in future operational environments.
The Contractor shall provide non-personal A&AS support to the USAF STE programs for HQ USAF sponsored and supported wargaming. The Contractor shall provide manning and subject matter expertise to support AF Wargaming efforts and tasks.
These personnel shall fulfil the following broad tasks:
Task 1: Wargame Operations (4.1)
Task 2: Analytical Support (4.2)
Task 3: Video Teleconference Operations (4.3)
Task 4: Wargame Information Environment (WIE) (4.4)
Task 5: Surge Operations (4.5)
Task 6: Program Management (4.6)
WARGAME OPERATIONS: The Contractor shall:
- Support HQ USAF wargames before, during, and after wargame execution.
- Engage with USAF and extra-USAF organizations in designing, planning, developing, recruiting players, facilitating execution, adjudicating game turns/moves, assessing outcomes, conducting post-game analysis, and developing wargame reports and briefing materials.
