The Institute for Learning, Education and Development (ILEAD) under the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is responsible for developing electronic media for training and informational purposes. To ensure accessibility, all electronic media must comply with Section 508 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act. Remediation services are required for various formats, including but not limited to MS Office, Adobe, HTML, audio, and multimedia. ILEAD is committed to providing fully accessible products for diverse audiences within the VA system.
Objective: Provide services to review and remediate learning products to achieve full compliance with Section 508 standards.
ILEAD’s Production and Delivery Service Line Responsibilities: ILEAD’s Production and Delivery Service Line will engage the contractor to remediate eLearning products, covering document remediation, audio transcription, audio description, professional voice narration, captioning, and eLearning course testing and certification.
The period of performance (PoP) shall be one base period with four task ordering periods.
This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with an estimated ceiling of $3 Million.
