After nearly a decade with CMS during which she focused on unifying CMS’s efforts to reduce regulatory and administrative burden for beneficiaries and the medical community, this leader has departed the agency.

Mary (Grigorian) Greene announced her retirement, sharing: I have retired from federal service as of September 30. I have enjoyed my time at CMS and establishing the Office of Burden Reduction and Health Informatics. It has been an honor to have served as Director, and to have worked with so many passionate and vibrant professionals inside and outside government dedicated to improving the delivery of healthcare.
