VA RFI: Federal Procurement Data Systems – Next Generation (FPDS-NG) Data Quality Improvement

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition and Logistics (OAL) requires improvement to FPDS-NG data quality primarily through:

• Automate monitoring of FPDS-NG for potential errors for all possible data fields;
• Automated feedback to the FPDS-NG submitter within two business days of FPDS-NG entry;
• Proper data error notification support (supervisor, contracting officer, contract specialist, etc.) in a time sensitive manner trough automated notifications and dashboards;
• Streamline reporting through automated report preparation of FPDS-NG accuracy certification for the Office of Procurement Policy (OFPP) required data fields; and
• Analysis of data generated by approximately 3000 VA buyers…

The anticipated period of performance is a base year and four one-year option periods.
