Credence recruits NIH RADx Digital Health leader to serve as new CHIO

Credence Management Solutions, a leader in innovative management consulting and technology solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Andrew Weitz to its senior leadership team. Weitz will serve as the Chief Health Innovation Officer to enhance our health and biomedical portfolio.

In his prior role as Program Director at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Andrew led digital health strategy for RADx-Tech, a $1.7B program that accelerated the development and commercialization of home-based diagnostic tests. His contributions included establishing pathways for reporting home test results to public health agencies and running a nationwide program that provided free home covid/flu tests, telehealth services, and treatment to tens of thousands of individuals.

Weitz expressed his enthusiasm for joining the Credence team: “It’s an honor to join Credence and contribute to the company’s growth in the health and biomedical spaces. I’m inspired by the innovative technology solutions that Credence has developed for the defense sector. I see tremendous potential in leveraging those technical capabilities to advance human health.”
