The Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to issue an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five (5) year ordering period, for support for NAVAIR Digital Department Support Services.
It is anticipated that the majority of support under this contract will be required for digital/IT innovation including complex, emerging, and rapidly evolving technology acceleration and modernization needs.
The Contractor shall provide various types of support including:
- digital transformation planning and execution.
- enterprise alignment.
- technology exploration,
- acceleration, and integration.
- digital/IT consultation; business intelligence.
- application portfolio management.
- software modernization.
- systems integration.
- Enterprise Architecture (EA) design and management.
- web management.
- Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)/Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) program management.
- Unified Communications (UC),
- IT Operations.
- cybersecurity.
- cloud services.
- multi-layer security support,
- maintenance functions.
- network security; automation.
- digital modeling and virtual environment support.
- talent management.
- change management.
- data analytics and integration.
- artificial intelligence (AI),
- business process management and improvement.
- as well as general IT and digital support.
Services are required in support of numerous current and planned initiatives (i.e., Cybersecurity related events, Cloud initiatives, emerging and disruptive technologies, IT consolidations initiatives) and infrastructure improvements.
As the NDD works collaboratively across the NAVAIR Enterprise and the Department of Defense (DoD) to align efforts with Naval North Star objectives and accelerate advances in digital technology, the Contractor may be required to provide support across the NAVAIR Enterprise, the Program Executive Offices (PEOs), the supported Commands (including all echelon levels), and other DoD Services, sites, and activities as required.
