The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking sources in support of the Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Enterprise Directorate (“J6 C4”) requirement for the DISA Hampton Roads Virginia Network and Cabling Infrastructure (NetCI).

  • J6 Hampton Roads (JPH) Network Operations The DISA JPH Network Operations and Engineering Team is currently comprised of eight Government civilians maintaining the network. This contract is to provide additional support to the existing Government civilians in the network operations and engineering sections. The contract team will complete all projects assigned to them and handle approximately 1,000 service tickets per year. The two networks JPH currently support are comprised of approximately 15,000 IT assets, 2,000 users, and 400 devices combined. The devices consist of Cisco routers, switches, and appliances, F5 network load balancers, RSA SecurID authentication managers and ViaSAT, L-3 Communications, and General Dynamics encryption devices …
  • JPH Network Engineering Page 2 of 5 Pages The DISA JPH Network Engineering Team has the responsibility to assist with the engineering baseline, planning, modernization, design, development, integration, and testing of incremental changes or network modernizations to the JPH Enclaves within the DISA J6 Hampton Roads Enterprise communications network. They also serve as the Tier IV escalation point to resolve issues on the DISA J6 HR Enterprise communications network. On average, Tier IV receives about 15 tickets per year … communications network.
  • JPH Cable Plant Infrastructure and Management The contractor shall maintain the cable plant infrastructure that provides DISA J6 IT Enterprise network access. In all the DISA J6 Hampton Roads locations (Norfolk and Suffolk), the contractor shall be responsible for cabling and connectivity from the wall plate to the end user device. The vendor shall be responsible to maintain the cable plant infrastructure that provides network access to approximately 2,000 Hampton Roads users, including intra- and inter-facility cabling. This infrastructure provides users with access to the full complement of IT Services provided by the DISA J6 IT Enterprise.   • JPH Protected Distribution System The contractor shall perform weekly tests on alarmed Protection Distribution System (PDS) in accordance with Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) No. 7003 standards and provide weekly results to Government personnel. The contractor shall also perform analysis of PDS alerts, issues, and problems and document findings in accordance with CNSSI No. 7003 standards during core hours …
