The purpose of this SOO is to provide clear objectives for the development of a USDA sponsored, Proof of Concept (POC) in a Data Gathering and Determination of Feasibility of a mobile based app that can capture non-contact visual measurements of livestock using technologies such as LiDAR or by creating a 2D skeleton and mapping it to 3D space. Automatic Measurement: Utilize image processing algorithms and machine learning models to demonstrate ability to automatically extract key measurements from the captured data. Measurements should be accurate and reliable with traditional measurement methods. Anticipated Benefits Include:
