This posting is issued to create a conduit between United States Air Force Test Center/Directorate of Contracting (AFTC/PZZD) and industry to communicate on an upcoming contract vehicle for, but not limited to provide the 96th Range Group, along with other DoD organizations and their customers the capability to meet the need to urgently develop and modify T&E systems and facilities as the test community employs technologies to ensure the performance of 5th and 6th generation weapons and cyber systems and begins the process of validating and transitioning to those new technologies. Testing modern weapons systems with rapidly changing technologies and tactics are inherent to National Defense programs.
AFTC/PZZD is seeking information from sources that may possess the ability to provide a high level of technical expertise to include a wide variety of engineering, test, design/redesign, evaluation, analysis, prototyping, and manufacturing experience to support test community requirements for analysis, test support, design and delivery of qualified hardware and software designs from initial requirements definition to fielded operational capability in accordance with all relevant standards. A thorough understanding of acquisition and systems engineering best practices and knowledge of technology advances in state-of-the art C6ISR, smart munitions, autonomy, artificial intelligence, hypersonic, directed energy (DE), target scoring and signature measurements, and virtual test practices are necessary to design and implement test solutions under this contract. Estimated magnitude of the potential requirement is $20B with a five-year basic ordering period and five-year Option periods.
