USAF Sources Sought: ACC A3W Weather Operations Program Management Support

This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued by Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC) as part of its market research to identify available sources, capabilities, and receive industry input with regard to ACC’s requirement for Weather Operations Program Management Support. This is a follow-on requirement that is currently set-aside for 8(a) small businesses.

Implement ACC/A3W MAJCOM weather functional responsibilities for technical readiness, IAW DAFMAN 15-129_ACC SUP. This will include the following responsibilities:

• Assist ACC organizations with the development, implementation, and management of unit metrics programs to monitor and evaluate the performance and accuracy of weather products and services.
• Collect and consolidate Weather Watch, Warning and Advisory (WWA) Verification (WARNVER), Terminal Aerodrome Forecast Verification (TAFVER) metrics for ACC weather organizations.
• Use metrics to monitor, analyze, and assess the technical performance and effectiveness of ACC tactical-level weather operations. Prepare recommendations for ACC/A3W that identify trends and deficiencies associated with organizing, training, or equipping its weather forces.  Provide AF/A3W feedback on MAJCOM-level weather metrics trends or concerns that may require policy or training changes to improve the weather functional community’s technical performance.
• Prepare command-specific metrics guidance for subordinate ACC weather units and assist commanders with using metrics as a tool to assess their weather readiness and evaluate their ability to meet mission essential tasks in the Defense Readiness Reporting System …

The period of performance will include a one-year base period, four one-year option periods, and a six-month extension IAW FAR 52.217-8.  The anticipated award date is 28 June 2025 with a one-month transition period and full performance to begin 1 August 2025.
